Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Bioscience and Business Management
Who is it for?The course is suitable for those employed in the biomedicine and biotechnology sector.
QualificationsFor this qualification you must achieve 10 credits from group A and 10 credits from group B. The remaining 40 credits can be accumulated by taking modules from any of the groups – A, B or C – to a total credit value of 60. On successful completion you will be awarded a Lancaster University Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Bioscience and Business Management (60 credits)*.
AssessmentThere are no exams. For each module there will be an assessment activity which will require some reading and some investigation/evaluation of processes and practices in participants’ own work settings.
Entry requirementsThe programme has non-standard entry criteria. Students who enter onto the course normally require at least a second class honours degree or equivalent. In the absence of any formal qualifications the applicant may be required to undertake a pre-entry exercise, attend an interview with a member of the course team and provide evidence of significant relevant work experience.
